PROFINE GmbH is the world's leading supplier of plastic profiles for windows and entrance doors, privacy systems and PVC sheets. PROFINE products are available in more than 100 countries. The company employs 3,000 people at 29 locations in 23 countries. We developed a digital replacement format for the leading trade fair 'Fensterbau Frontale' which was subsequently established as a long-term sales tool.
Seven showrooms that create a new dimension: using their own architecture, mac designed a virtual environment to house the virtual PROFINE showroom. To do this, we designed seven product-related showrooms with distinct functions. During the eight days of the trade fair, visitors were able to experience PROFINE's wide range of products in a digital space. One of the main requirements was to enable a one-on-one exchange between the company and its customers. Using a contact tool, customers could make online appointments with their PROFINE contact person who would take them on a guided virtual tour of the digital trade fair. On the tour innovative products were presented, 3D models were shown, and information was provided on the topics of megatrends such as digitalisation, sustainability and climate protection. Interviews, a raffle and a live chat with international experts from PROFINE GmbH rounded off the digital event.
