Digital Factory Tour for Zwiesel Glas
mac. brand spaces, the live communication specialists from Langenlonsheim, worked with Zwiesel Glas to drive forward the transformation of the new brand with a Digital Factory Tour. “The aim of the project was to take Zwiesel Glas customers on a digital journey through the Zwiesel world and get them excited about the brand,” says Alexander Ody, Director Business Development at mac. After all, “made in Germany” and the impressive scale of production are also decisive for success in the sales process and proof of the high quality that Zwiesel Glas delivers.
The complete production processes in manual and machine production are shown. To better explain the complexity, Zwiesel Glas Brand Manager Lisa Müller is involved in the Digital Factory Tour as a guide. “We have succeeded in digitizing a crucial part of the Zwiesel Glas customer journey in the B2B and B2C sectors,” says Ody. The entire Zwiesel production area was photographed with a 360° camera to present and explain the creation process and the individual production steps of the products. The shots for the guided tour were taken in mac’s own green screen studio in Langenlonsheim. These were used to experience the tour with the brand manager’s explanations and to gain important insights.
André Wöllner, Digital 3D Artist at mac, knows what it takes to bring the tour to life: “The tour was technically realized with 360° recordings in 8K format. The highlights are the video overlays and atmospheric sound bites at specific points in the production process.” This brings the impressive production process to life.
