Climate-neutral staging of Rosenbauer at Interschutz
At Interschutz in Hanover, the leading international trade fair for fire protection, civil protection, rescue and safety, Rosenbauer presented itself at a mac. brand spaces stand. “Rosenbauer is the world market leader as a full-range supplier for fire departments. We wanted to do justice to this position at the Interschutz trade fair with several large indoor and outdoor areas,” says Martin Reiter-Bauer, Managing Director of mac Austria.
Both Rosenbauer and mac. brand spaces are pioneers in their industries when it comes to sustainability and are making special efforts in this area. “We are delighted that Rosenbauer followed our suggestion to build the trade fair stand completely climate-neutral,” explains Reiter-Bauer. The CO2 emissions for the production, delivery and operation of the trade fair stand as well as for the overall appearance were calculated in advance and offset by donations to a climate protection project. As a certified “sustainable company”, mac. brand spaces already acts according to the principles of ecological sustainability in the production of the stand.

On more than 4,100 square meters, spread over several areas in the hall and in the outdoor area, Rosenbauer presented all areas of its product and service portfolio at Interschutz in Hanover: technical equipment and extinguishing systems, digital solutions, preventive fire protection, personal protective equipment and a fan store. A special highlight of the presentation was the internationally acclaimed unveiling of the spectacular “Panther Electric”, an electric ARFF vehicle.

“Future topics were discussed with invited customers and guests in a large VIP meeting space – supported by a wide variety of digital scenarios, which were shown in a specially constructed, six-meter-high “City Dome”,” says Reiter-Bauer. “It was an exciting challenge for us to meet the high customer expectations and wishes despite all the current difficulties in the raw materials and services market, and to do so in the very short implementation time of just three months.” But the success proved mac. brand spaces and Rosenbauer right: the presentation was praised by guests and visitors for its functionality, unique architecture and visual appearance.
After Interschutz 2020 was canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this planned first collaboration between mac. brand spaces and Rosenbauer was postponed by more than two years. The stand originally conceived was developed by the Munich agency Beyond Disciplines after the trade fair was postponed to this year and thus adapted to the changed conditions following the pandemic. For example, the organizer wanted wider aisles, more space between the exhibits, fewer stand personnel and more digital content and forms of presentation to be taken into account when designing the trade fair presentations.
