Emerging stronger from the years of the COVID-19 crisis
mac. brand spaces GmbH can look back on a successful first half of 2022. “Since the restart of trade fairs and events in April, mac has exceeded the comparable period of 2019, i.e. the pre-corona period, in terms of turnover every month,” says mac CEO Stefan Trieb. Among the 700 projects this year are also many flagship projects that stand out due to their size or complexity.

In total, mac has invested 4.7 million euros in machinery, equipment, IT and sustainability during the two years of the coronavirus crisis. As one of the leading international companies for live communication, mac is well prepared for the challenges of the future.
The high equity ratio, which is approaching 50 percent again, also contributes to this stable foundation. Above all, mac has maintained its efficiency across all departments and is therefore in an excellent starting position for the challenges of the future: “We have a strong team, which I am very happy about. We were largely able to keep it together throughout the crisis,” says Trieb. As an expression of this confidence, the Langenlonsheim-based company has taken on 20 new trainees and dual students this year alone and has taken on the graduates of the year.
The brand transformation towards “mac. brand spaces”, which was implemented in the company during the pandemic, is also paying off. “A strong brand means presence in the market, creates trust with partners and customers and keeps employees together. A strong brand helps to successfully weather crises because it provides security,” says Trieb. The company is also on the right track with the expansion of its sustainability strategy. “The demand for advice and concepts in this area is very high,” says Trieb. “Our environmentally friendly and responsible actions in combination with the workshops we offer are very well received by customers.”
