Staging BASF at the K 2022

mac. brand spaces is taking its long-standing partnership with the chemical company BASF to the next level, as mac CEO Stefan Trieb announces. At K’ 2022, the most important trade fair for plastics and rubber, the Langenlonsheim-based specialist for live communication is staging the stand for BASF under the motto “Go! “We have been supporting BASF since 2015 and are delighted that this appearance will be confirmation of our new path of holistic brand consulting for the three-dimensional space,” says Trieb. K 2022 will take place from October 19 to 26 in Düsseldorf.

“With 1,350 square meters of stand space, this is BASF’s largest trade fair participation,” emphasizes Trieb. The chemical company will present its path towards a circular economy and present itself as a solution provider for a sustainable future with plastics. The aim in developing the trade fair participation is therefore high: innovation, customer orientation and sustainability should be shown in a tangible and approachable way. The mac project team developed the concept and staging for this with the Creative Lead Team around Janina Lamers, Stephan Klopp, Stefan Amschler and Roman Ruster; in Account Management, Katherine Kain and Alexander Ody are responsible for strategic consulting and implementation.

BASF’s motto for K 2022 is “Go!Create – Welcome to our Plastics Journey”. The “Loop of Endless Possibilities” is a striking sign in 2D and 3D that visibly communicates the solutions developed as a central element. The idea of a life cycle for the individual phases of production, use and recycling is presented in the three theme worlds “Make”, “Use” and “Recycle” using different showcases. For example, exhibits on sustainability along the value chain show that a sustainable future is not possible without plastics.

In order to make this “Plastics Journey” tangible, mac. brand spaces has staged the brand core “connected” as a leitmotif for the dialog area: the Community Space. This is where the exchange of information, interaction and dialog between BASF and all its
and all its target groups in a contemporary and inspiring co-working environment. BASF’s various showcases are staged around the Community Space. The topics range from digital simulation solutions to charging infrastructure and recycling solutions.
