mac strengthens sales in Singapore

mac. brand spaces, an international specialist in live communication, is systematically continuing its growth in Asia: Following the opening of the new location in Singapore in April 2024, the company is now specifically strengthening its local sales team. Nicholas Martin Soh, a trade fair and sales professional, has been recruited for the region.

“After the logistics and customs turbulence of recent years, the markets are reorganizing. The latest agreement in the customs dispute between the USA and China is a positive signal for international trade and supply chains. At the same time, it is not yet possible to predict how trade, markets and trade fairs will develop in the area of tension between regionalization and globalization – which makes it all the more important for us to react quickly and be close to our customers,” explains mac CEO Stefan Trieb. With the locations in Shanghai and Singapore, the company is “in the right place at the right time” in Asia, Trieb continues.

The decision in favor of Singapore as an additional location is based on clear economic considerations. The ASEAN countries are experiencing dynamic growth, not least due to the strategic reorganization of global supply chains. “Sustainability and efficiency are also becoming more of a focus in Asia – and therefore precisely the topics in which we as mac are setting international standards,” emphasizes Trieb.

With the new employee Nicholas Martin Soh, mac. brand spaces has gained a trade fair and sales expert. Most recently, he worked at Fortem International, where he was responsible for organizing the Singapore Business Show, the country’s largest SME and start-up trade fair. Soh brings with him experience in sales, customer care and the management and training of sales teams.

The office will continue to be managed by Jackie Soh, who has been active in the ASEAN region for many years and is deeply networked. With the combination of strategic leadership and operational sales expertise, mac believes it is ideally positioned to continue to grow in Asia and effectively support local and international customers.
